Welcome to Clarke University's student-produced literary magazine, funded in part by an endowment in honor of Professor Katherine Fischer, creator of the Clarke University Writing Program. The Tenth Muse is a venue for creativity in prose, poetry and art and has just released Volume VII.
Our Mission Statement
We look for an honest voice, an idiosyncratic signature, and a degree of sophistication that is deserving of a public venue. Writing that grows from a vision and is written with passion will interest us, regardless of structure or approach. The Tenth Muse strives to work with authors and artists in respecting individual creative vision. With this in mind, we seek to publish work by new, emerging, and established writers that tests boundaries or somehow captures the literary spirit.
We are currently seeking submissions for Volume VIII! If you have prose, poetry, or artwork that you would like to see in our next volume, submit today!
